For this furniture piece, I was inspired by the Neoclassical period. There was a common theme throughout the pieces from the time, they all were simple design, yet ornamented. They were typically boxy with rounded fronts and intricate legs. I chose to stick with the simple and rounded shape, as well as the gold ornamentation. This is my take on a modern day neoclassical cabinet.
