Spring 2021

A poetry shelter can mean a lot of things to different people, and for me, I took this project as an opportunity to create a space in which I would feel most serene. The image of a small structure overlooking the ocean at the edge of a mountain immediately came to mind. There would be a covered path that when looked through, the individual would be overcome with a beautiful view of water and sky, which for me, is serenity.
